My First Day of Work in the Hospital

Monday, July 14, 2008

I'm pretty nervous 'coz this is my very first day of exposure in the hospital. No more clinical instructors to lean on whenever I have questions or when I needed their help. Oh! I hate this area, I was assigned in tuberculosis but I'm quite thankful that my shift is at night. Less patient less toxic.

I hope everything's gonna be fine. I'm all by myself right now. No, classmates to lean on and I'm not a student anymore. I'm a licensed nurse now. It's really tough being a professional. There's a lot of responsibilities.

I hope the doctors won't yell at me if I would do something wrong.

I have a lot of worries right now and all I hope and pray is that everything's gonna be alright.

I hope that the staff nurses are kind and are willing to help me.

Whew!!! That's all for now, I have to eat my dinner now and fix my self. I have to be early tonight. First impression, lasts. hehe

Quotable Quotes

Friday, July 11, 2008

In life, I will realize that the people I meet have purpose...

Some were put there to test me, some would use me, some would teach me, and some would bring out the better if not the best in me...

Some may even cause me pain and heartache but one must learn to move on...

So I let go of the people who can't treat me right, and hold on to those who love me back and see my worth!

A Dream Come True

Wednesday, July 9, 2008

I've been a frustrated writing ever since I was in High School. I really wanted to be a journalist, but that didn't come true. I chose another course when I got into college since I thought I wouldn't have a good future as a journalist. Honestly, I never thought to myself that I will be wearing white uniform with a white cap. Yes, I am a nurse by profession. But a journalist by heart.

Because of my blog, I somehow became a writer. What made it more come true is that when my online job required me to write. And I think it was 2 in 1. I can be a writer and at the same time a nurse. The topics that I was going to write was all about health.

Hmmm. That means I can still focus on my profession...

Just wanna share you my High School memories...

When I was in High School, I was the type of person who would rather stay inside my room and scribble down on my notebook than to go out and socialize with other people. Yup! I was a bit weirdo. I love to scribble down anything on my notebook. I write poems, songs (really??!!!), or any stuff that comes out my mind. Oh those were the days.

Sayang! I wasn't able to keep a copy, it was something that I wrote for my first love. And I love that poem, even my friends loved it.

I hope one of my friends would read this post and would give me back the copy. I gave my friends a copy of that poem. I would really be glad to post it here.

My First Digi Scrap Creations

Thursday, July 3, 2008

Kobe and me after taking him to a walk...
Butchie's baby picture....

I love to keep pictures even if it is the simplest moment of my life. I love to keep simple yet unforgettable memories as I grow old. But sometimes it’s kinda boring if we just keep our pictures plain. Like in my case, I wanna put designs on my pictures to make it presentable and more interesting to look at. But I don’t have much time to buy for the materials and do the cut-paste thing. So, I decided to do digital scrapping, it's easier and more convenient for me. Thanks to PhotoMix.

With PhotoMix, I design my pictures with different designs and styles. I like their lay-outs and themes. The design is unique and fits my personality. You can also create digital collages and calendars. So you have choices, too if you wanted to do other stuff with your pictures. What I like about PhotoMix is that their tutorial is very easy to understand and after reading and understanding it. Look, I started to do my first digi-scrap right away. This is great for those who are just starting to do their own digi-scrap.

With PhotoMix, you can make great scrapbooks, either quickly and easily - with templates, or creatively - with numerous graphics kits to choose from. You can put your finished digi scrap in any site. I just put mine on my blog and friendster account. People won’t get sick and tired looking at your plain pictures because it has creative designs. And you can even make fun of your pictures.

Try using PhotoMix and see for yourself how convenient this is. Just simply visit it to see their wonderful themes. By the way, they have themes for your Birthday, Christmas, Halloween, and other occasions. Actually, they have many categories to choose from. I hope you’ll enjoy using PhotoMix.
I just did...

Meet the Cheeky Monkeys!!!

Sunday, June 15, 2008

As I was browsing on Youtube, I saw this cute video from the Cheeky Monkeys. They are the adorable kids who did a wonderful performance on Britains Got Talent. They're so cute and talented. But unfortunately, they didn't win the contest.

This is my favorite performance from them. I love their routine and they dance as if they are adult people. LOL...

I hope someone will post a new video.
